Since then the girls have amassed a multimillion dollar fortune through countless business ventures including films, a clothes line, books and fragrances. These days however it is mostly her outfit choicesthat have Mary-Kate hitting the headlines.The New York Times has declared Mary-Kate a fashion icon for pioneering her signature (and now popular among celebrities and fans alike) "homeless" look. The style, sometimes referred to as Boho-chic or bohemi an-bourgeois, is similar to that of Bohemian chic. Red Carpet Princess: The actress can still glam up for parties and awards ceremonies. Usually in vintage piece Mary Kate really works the red carpet, often looking like a 1940s icon.She likes wearing short and long dresses with glamorous jewlery and accessories.She likes natural make up but hot lips and usually her hair are curly.She is know as the queen of the red carpet with her gorgeous fashion appearances.

White Mania: We have seen her in many of her appearances on the red carpet and other events wearing short or long gorgeous withe dresses wich she matches with strong make-up,perfect hair

Black Chic: Black is colour wich we don't see usually on the red carpet but Mary-Kate proves us that it matches perfectly in any event!She chooses it because of her unique style that makes her being rebel chic.It also shows her age with a fashionable way.It looks like it is one of her favorite's.

Red Hot: Mary-Kate is inspired by red hot dresses and accessories so she wears them and matches perfectly with the red carpet as she did in the met gala 2011 and she was fabulous. I think she is gorgeous in red and it fits her the best !

Teen Twins:Along with her sister Mary Kate has been tapped as the faces of upscale fashion line Badgley Mischka in 2006, in an attempt to gain credibility in the fashion industry. The pair have also launched their own new couture fashion label "The Row" named after the famous Savile Row of London. The pair have also started a new line for The Row, entitled "Elizabeth & James", named after their siblings.As well as her more dressed down look Mary Kate has a vast collection of expensive designer pieces, including a vintage Chanel bag that is worth over $40,000. Worried that they could be stolen or destroyed she has decided to insure her wardrobe for more than $2 million.
